I had the privilege of staying in Longo Mai for a week and I honestly wish I could have stayed a little longer. The food was great, the people were nice, and the scenery was amazing. The weather was lovely and perfect for taking a dip in the river. I got the perfect opportunity to practice my Spanish and if I was there longer, I might have been able to attend the school and become fluent. Hiking was fun as well as learning to dance. During the hike, we learned where and how chocolate is made.
It was truly an unforgettable experience and I would love to go back in the future
